Okay this Senior was tons of fun. He had me cracking up at the weird guy watching us !!! (but getting stares is all a part of the creative process ... RIGHT?)
Perhaps you don't know that I am homeschooling my children. And so are some of my mom friends. It's a great and wonderful adventure. And sometimes we miss out on a few regular school routines and traditions, like awkward posed school pictures. I love those little fresh faces. So as homeschooling moms, we learn to create our own. As fun as regular school pictures are... These school pictures are SWEET!
Super Amazing Smiles from Mr. M. Even though he would rather have been sleeping, he perserved and gave us some great shots. Isn't it nice what a son will do for his mom!? (and for a strawberry shake...)
And thanks Mr. M for hauling my awesome chair around town.
I'm all about beauty in the ordinary things. I think there is such a distracting, dizzying amount of loveliness to behold in this world. I think there is beauty in everything - in socks, on beaches, in star wars, and kitten bellies, carrots fresh from the garden, and in the quietness of snow, narwhals, aprons and old books. I cannot resist eggs benedict and I love wooden cutting boards... I find creative inspiration in everyone I meet ... and I think a giggle turns every face into something beautiful. I was born and raised in the PNW, where I currently reside with my three wild things and my super supportive husband.
